Neighbour Proposing Building Works?
Been served a Party Wall Notice?
You are entitled to a surveyor who would respond on your behalf, carry out the schedule of condition, take onboard your concerns, and agree the award, which protect you and your property.
Generally once you receive the written notice from your neighbour carrying out the works, you have 14 days to reply. You should not be pressured to sign any form, paper or Notice from your neighbour unless you fully understand its contents, implications and do not wish to waive your rights.
In all normal circumstances the building owner pays for any surveyor's fees.
If you become aware of any building work to your neighbouring property and received any notices, contact us. We can assist and respond on your behalf, at no cost to you.
